CLASSIFIED ADS THE CONSTABULARY is very pleased to offer classified ads for our visitors. The intent is to provide more collectors with the opportunity to BUY-SELL-TRADE thus broadening the audience of and their interest in the hobby. Because of the concept of 'classified advertisements' and the sometimes 'base' nature of buying, selling, and trading, it is important that you READ THIS INFORMATION BEFORE USING THE ADS! There are other instructions, rules, and policies addressed in the actual Classified Ads pages that you should also read but THIS INFORMATION IS VITAL! 1) At least for the foreseeable future all ads are FREE! There is a limit of ten (10) ads per individual at any given time. 2) Do not try to include a "For Sale" type transaction on a "Trade" or "Wanted" ad. It is okay to list your web site address even if you sell from there, but the "sales pitch" stops there. 3) The items you list on these ads MUST be within the focus of The Constabulary web site. In other words, police collectibles, police related books, Sherlockiana, true crime items, etc. are okay. Unrelated items such as multi-level marketing schemes, business opportunities, adult-related items, etc. have no place here and will be deleted. 4) Because of the liability involved, no ads for firearms (unless 100+ years old) or any U.S. law enforcement breast badges (current, old, defunct, whatever!) or any law enforcement identification cards will be permitted. If you want to list your web site in the ad and then transact in these items there, that's your business .... but don't even mention them in our Classified Ads. 5) Ads involving transactions for counterfeit, reproduction, replica, made-up, or other phony items are not permitted. Also, misrepresented items (like the 1942 bobby whistles on Ebay) are strictly forbidden. 6) The Constabulary's "Use Policy" (Click Here to read) also applies to all Classified Ads submitted to the web site. 7) The Constabulary's Webmaster reserves the right to edit, change, remove, and/or delete any ad. Should such action affect a "paid" ad, then a refund will be made accordingly. 8) Even if it is not listed in the ad, Buyer's should assume that they will be responsible for postage cost.
